We had these wonderful "just breathe" stones custom made for us.  

Square breathing, (4 point breathing) is a simple and effective way to calm your mind and body.

  1. To begin: Place the stone in your hand with your thumb on a corner dot.

  2. Breathe In (4 seconds): Inhale slowly through your nose, slowly moving your thumb from one corner dot on the stone to the next, while counting to 4 in your head. Feel your lungs fill with air.

  3. Hold (4 seconds): After inhaling, hold your breath for another count of 4. Keep your body relaxed while holding.

  4. Breathe Out (4 seconds): Exhale slowly and fully through your mouth, counting to 4, while moving your thumb onto the next dot.

  5. Hold (4 seconds): Once you’ve exhaled, pause and hold your breath again for a count of 4.

  6. Repeat: Continue this cycle for several minutes, focusing on the rhythm of your breath and the counting while slowly moving from one dot to the next.

Carry the stone in your pocket to help focus and de-stress throughout your day. 

In chromotherapy (color therapy), the color blue is known for its calming and soothing properties. 

Stone type: Blue Sodalite. 

If 4 seconds is too much on the in and out breath, just reduce the number, try a count of 3. Its all about slowing down, focusing, and releasing stress.
