Imbolc Simmer Pot

Imbolc, traditionally observed on February 1, marks the turning of the year — when the light begins its slow return, and the first stirrings of spring are felt beneath winter’s quiet. In seasonal folklore, this is a time of cleansing, renewal, and preparing the home and heart for what is beginning to grow.

Our Imbolc simmer pot is thoughtfully blended to honor this threshold moment. Simmered gently on the stove, it fills the home with natural warmth and fragrance, echoing old customs of refreshing and blessing the household as the seasons shift.

Herbs & botanicals included:

  • Orange – traditionally associated with light, clarity, and freshness, welcoming brightness back into the home

  • Rosemary – long linked with remembrance, protection, and renewal

  • Bay Leaf – a symbol of intention, hope, and quiet wishes for the coming year

  • Cinnamon – warming and invigorating, often connected with vitality and returning energy

  • Lavender – traditionally associated with calm, gentle protection, and peace of mind, often used to soothe both home and heart.

Each simmer pot offers a simple, sensory way to pause, clear the air of winter’s heaviness, and gently welcome the promise of spring. Use during Imbolc, throughout early February, or whenever you feel called to refresh and renew your space.
