Prehnite was named after the 18th century Dutchman Hendrick von Prehn who actually discovered the crystal while in South Africa. It is a stone connected to prohecy and shamanism by the indigenous peoples. Use prehnite in meditation to provide protection or place under ones pillow as a dream stone for lucid dreaming. Being connected to ones heart chakra it is a stone of unconditional love and often helps during crisis in relationships.
