In early February, something subtle begins to change. The days are still cold, the landscape still quiet, yet beneath the surface there is the first sense of movement — in the natural world, and often within ourselves.

The Quickening is an evening of sound, stillness, and gentle listening, held in crystal singing bowls and spacious silence. The journey unfolds slowly, allowing sound to settle deeply and without effort, making room for what may be stirring but not yet ready to take shape.

Participants need to do nothing, and no prior experience is required. This is simply a time to rest at the threshold between winter and what comes next — to listen, soften, and be held in sound and quiet.

Please wear comfortable clothing and bring anything that helps you rest (yoga mat, blanket, pillow). Cushions are provided.

This gathering is intended for adults, and space is limited.

Cost: $30 per person (Tickets available on our Facebook event page)

Facilitator: Michael Harper (Elderwood)
