Beautiful highly polished echinoid pansy fossil shell. Price is for one piece. The term sand dollar refers to a species of flat, burrowing sea urchins to the order Clypeasteroida. They can also be known as "cake urchins" or "sand cakes". These are from Madagascar in the Triassic age and have a lovely polished surface.
